SAAT ADMIT CARD 2014 |
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test SAAT 2014 Admit cards will be dispatched around 15 days before the date of examination @ April 25th, 2014. If an applicant does not receive the admit card 10 days ( From May 1st) before the examination can download the duplicate admit card from our website http://soauniversity.ac.in.
* If a candidate does not receive or lose admit card, the Centre Superintendent may issue him / her a duplicate admit card on receiving Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) with an application written by the candidate and two attested recent passport size photographs of the candidate identical with the photograph pasted on the original application. Two numbers of the duplicate admit cards will be prepared by the Centre Superintendent; one of them will be issued to the candidate and the other is to be sent along with the answer books, to the Director (Admissions). Candidates must preserve the admit card till the admission process is over.

* Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University every year to select bright students from different parts of our country. The SAAT 2014 test is being conducted for different programs offered in different constituent institutes / schools of the university. SAAT-2014 the seventh edition of this entrance test, will be held on May 10th, 2014 (Saturday) at 65 centers across 46 cities of India.
The test is primarily a multiple choice type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with any other national level entrance test. Short listed candidates will be called to attend an open counselling for admission into various programmes of the university. Another feature of this entrance test is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT-2014.
Examination Procedure:
SAAT 2014 there will be multiple choice questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each hour of examination. Each question shall have four probable answers with only one is correct answer; and the examinee shall have to blacken only the correct circle with HB pencil or black / blue ballpoint pen. Each correct answer shall carry four marks whereas each incorrect answer will lead to deduction of one mark. Each unanswered question will carry zero mark. If more than one circle is darkened for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and one mark will be deducted.
Wrong / Correct ways of Marking:
SAAT 2014 Each question is followed by answers, which have numbers A B C and D. Select the correct answer. Then by using HB pencil or black / blue ball pen darken the circle bearing the correct answer in the answer sheet against the corresponding number of the question.
