Exam Schedule:
The EAMCET engineering exam will be held on May 17 from 10 am to 1 pm where as the medical stream exam will be in the afternoon of the same day from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The ranks will be declared on June 2, 2014.
This schedule is subject to slight change in accordance with the schedule of general elections announced by Election Commission of India. If there is any clash of the exam date, we may have to change it.
Fee:
The fee for the test remains same as last year i.e. Rs 250. The registration fee can be made through AP Online, E-Seva and Mee Seva centers in Andhra Pradesh.
The OMR answer sheets, which will be appeared in a modified form this year, will be put on website after the declaration of ranks. Candidates have to mark the answers with blue and black pen only failing which their answer sheets will not be evaluated.
There will be no upper age limit:-
The qualifying percentage of marks in the test is 25 per cent of the maximum marks of EAMCET. For the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, there is no minimum qualifying marks prescribed. Even if they get zero marks, they can have a chance to get seat through 25 per cent weightage marks of Intermediate.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Intermediate board examinations starting February 21, 2014 throughout the state. Jharkhand Academic Council some changes in examination pattern from this year for better results. Among the many steps that have been taken by the board in the past one year, revision of syllabus, change in the question pattern and mock tests are the key ones. Given the poor performance of students in the last few years, we have brought many changes in the examination pattern.

The results of intermediate science had been very poor with only 38% of students passing in the state in 2013. This will not only familiarize them with the new question pattern, but also help them work on their weak areas.
Many changes have been made in the question paper pattern this year as well. For the first time optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets will be introduced in this examination. Several proposals passed by the Jharkhand Academic Council are still pending with the government. These are inclusion of moral studies and nationality in the syllabus, among others. However, with the introduction of objective type question and OMR sheets, students can score better.

The MT-CET 2014, an online common entrance test for admissions to the four-year full-time degree course in pharmacy at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-approved colleges in the state of Maharashtra, will be held on April 20, 2014.
The Director of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra issued a notification to this effect recently. A detailed notification regarding availability of information brochure, schedule for filling up of online CET applications, eligibility criteria etc. will be available in this site. Last year (2013-14), the DTE had declared an overall student intake of 10,565 seats for 153 pharmacy colleges in the state. The student intake and number of colleges are likely to change for 2014-15 after the AICTE’s process for sanction of new colleges and revision of student intake at existing colleges.
The MT-CET is now confined to only the pharmacy degree course admissions in the state. Also, the test will be conducted through an online mode for the first time unlike the conventional pen and paper mode till last year. The government will be conducting a separate entrance test, called the MH-CET, for admission to medical, dental, ayurveda, homeopathy, unani and allied health science courses in the state.
Till last year, pharmacy seats were being filled by way of a common admission process (CAP) based on the state merit list drawn from the MT-CET which was then a common entrance exam for engineering as well as pharmacy courses. However, the state government decided to join the HRD ministry’s single national entrance test scheme, called the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), from academic year 2014-15 for engineering admissions.

* If a candidate does not receive or lose admit card, the Centre Superintendent may issue him / her a duplicate admit card on receiving Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) with an application written by the candidate and two attested recent passport size photographs of the candidate identical with the photograph pasted on the original application. Two numbers of the duplicate admit cards will be prepared by the Centre Superintendent; one of them will be issued to the candidate and the other is to be sent along with the answer books, to the Director (Admissions). * Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University every year to select bright students from different parts of our country. The SAAT 2014 test is being conducted for different programs offered in different constituent institutes / schools of the university. SAAT-2014 the seventh edition of this entrance test, will be held on May 10th, 2014 (Saturday) at 65 centers across 46 cities of India.
The test is primarily a multiple choice type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with any other national level entrance test. Short listed candidates will be called to attend an open counselling for admission into various programmes of the university. Another feature of this entrance test is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT-2014.
Examination Procedure:
SAAT 2014 there will be multiple choice questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each hour of examination. Each question shall have four probable answers with only one is correct answer; and the examinee shall have to blacken only the correct circle with HB pencil or black / blue ballpoint pen. Each correct answer shall carry four marks whereas each incorrect answer will lead to deduction of one mark. Each unanswered question will carry zero mark. If more than one circle is darkened for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and one mark will be deducted.
Wrong / Correct ways of Marking:
SAAT 2014 Each question is followed by answers, which have numbers A B C and D. Select the correct answer. Then by using HB pencil or black / blue ball pen darken the circle bearing the correct answer in the answer sheet against the corresponding number of the question.

Staff Selection Commission [SSC] will re-conduct the examination for SSC CGL 2013 [Combine Graduate Level Exam 2013] in few selected centres from where the news of some unfair means have been received. It has came after a long hearing process of two-three months. Staff selection commission has finally published the official notification of Re-Exam in its official website.
What the SSC Official Notification Says?
Here is the Official Notice published by SSC in its official website on 29 Jan, 2014.
“Reference Press Note issued on 28th January, 2014 regarding re-examination at identified centres.
The list of examination centres where re-examination for CGL, 2013 will be held is as follows:
Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun.
Candidates who appeared from these Centres may please note.“
