The Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014 will be held on June 3, Andhra University will conduct the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014. EdCET 2014 notification would be issued on March 5 and submission of online applications will commence on March 10, 2014. Last date for submission of online applications is April 22 and April 30 with a fine of Rs. 500. Candidates can start downloading the hall tickets from May 16, 2014. After the test is held on June 3, the ranks will be announced on June 21. The first phase of admissions will commence on June 29 and classes at all B.Ed. colleges will be held from July 29. Fee can be paid on AP Online through Visa, Master or Maestro credit and debit cards.

The candidates applying for the EdCET 2013 to go through the user guide on the websitehttp://www.apedcet.org and www.edcet2014.info while information on EdCET 2013 is also available onwww.apsche.org and www.andhrauniversity.info


There is no change in the syllabus, examination pattern and fee (Rs.150) of the test but the hall tickets will be issued only online and candidates have to mention their mobile number and mail id in the examination application form. Two more test centres added for EdCET 2014, at Tekkali in Srikakulam district and Wanaparthy in Mahabubnagar district. Admission into B.Ed. (special education) course of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam done through AU CET till now, will be through EdCET 2014.
